Started on paper
The portal began as a hand-drawn wireframe: deadlines, pending and upcoming work, each client’s progress, the last follow-up and what is still unpaid, with a timeline of meetings underneath.
Version one
Built in June 2026 with plain JavaScript and Supabase. Separate views for the owner, the team and clients. The team gets a dashboard, tasks, a calendar and reports. Clients get their own hub, deliverables and a place to leave feedback.
Version two
By August it had moved inside vbhstudios.com. Fourteen modules: dashboard, projects, tasks, calendar, chat, attendance, leave approvals, notices, daily standup, team, complaints, settings, a client area, and the admin that publishes our own work and creator pages. Access is invite only.
It is how a small team runs remote interns, client reviews and payments without a pile of spreadsheets.
