The brief
Bike Rental Club had a backend developer and a Laravel API. They needed the two things customers and staff actually touch: a booking app and an admin panel.
What we built
The customer app, 18 screens, mobile first. Fleet, dates, add-ons and a clear price breakdown, OTP login, a five-photo KYC upload, a bookings dashboard and ride extensions. Native date inputs were replaced with a custom picker that works with a thumb.
The admin console, 22 screens. Bookings, fleet, models, pricing, availability, coupons, stores, users and KYC review, analytics and reports. Walk-in customers go through a store-first, five-step Rent Out flow with a handover checklist that cannot be skipped: payment proof, customer photo, odometer and helmet photos.
Every screen has four designed states: loading, error with retry, empty with a next step, and done.
Beyond the frontend
We wrote the backend requirements and API gap documents for the client’s developer, a UX and engineering standards guide, and a pre-launch testing guide. Photos are compressed in the browser to fit the API’s upload limit, so KYC never fails on a big phone camera file.
